Regular Cannabis Seeds are natural seeds produced from the pollination of Cannabis plants. Our Regular Seeds category features natural, unaltered cannabis strains that can make both male and female plants. They’re ideal for breeders and traditional growers looking to select and grow seeds from a diverse gene pool to create new strains or preserve classic genetics.

What Are Regular Cannabis Plants?

Regular seeds are the original, unaltered form of cannabis genetics. When you plant a regular seed, you leave it up to nature to determine the sex of the plant – whether it's a flowering female or a pollen-producing male. The catch is that regular seeds are known for producing strong, stress-resistant plants. This feature helps the plants weather unforeseen adverse conditions and still produce multiple yields.

What Are The Benefits Of Planting Regular Cannabis Seeds?

Regular Cannabis Seeds tend to produce strains with more desirable characteristics. This can be a mix of fast flowering plants and high resistance to pests and disease. You can simply cross-breed any trait that’s important to you!

The result? You get sturdier, more vigorous plants that can withstand extreme growing conditions and yet produce high yields. Also, regular seeds allow you to preserve the genes that are important to you through cloning – a technique that is used to produce exact replicas of a parent plant with the same genetics. For example, if you love the color or aroma of a specific plant, you can clone it to preserve the traits. These hybrid plants are often more stable and have stronger genetics than the parent plant.

Lastly, regular seeds are natural and free from human tampering. This makes them budget-friendly and easily accessible in large quantities. Feminized/autoflower seeds are much more expensive because of the complex modifications to the plant hormones. If you are a fan of natural seeds and need to save money on growing cannabis plants, then regular seeds are your best bet.

Are Regular Cannabis Seeds Better Than Feminized And Auto Cannabis Seeds?

There’s no one-size-fits-all answer to this. Typically, every cannabis seed comes with its unique benefits and areas of weakness. The better alternative depends on your goals or use case. For example, if you are a breeder looking to create new strains with genetic diversity, regular cannabis seeds may be the best option. On the other hand, if you are looking to maximize your yield of cannabinoid-rich buds with minimal hassle, feminized seeds would be the preferred choice.

To determine which is better, consider these factors:

  • Climate and Growing Environment
  • Your experience level
  • Flowering time
  • Desired Growth Pattern
  • Quantity of Yield

Is Regular Seed The Best Choice For Me?

Yes, regular hemp seed is the best option if you want to breed them to develop better, improved strains. Regular seeds allow you to preserve desirable traits in plants and pass them to a new plant through cloning. You can also modify different traits – resistance to stress, flowering period, shape, and yield – to improve outcomes.

How Do You Grow Regular Cannabis Seeds?

Here is a step-by-step guide you can follow to grow your cannabis seed:

Step 1: Germination

Soak the seed in a glass of water for 24-48 hours. The glass should be in a warm and dark place with a temperature of 21-29ºC or 70 - 85 F. Once you see the taproot, plant the seedlings in a container.

Step 2: Seedling Stage

The seedling requires constant and adequate sunlight. For indoor plants, you can use fluorescent or LED grow lights. Also, remember to keep the plant moist but avoid overwatering.

Step 3: Vegetative Stage:

The general rule of thumb is 18 hours and 6 hours of darkness. Feed the seedling with nutrients rich in NPK (Nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium).

NB: Check out the seed’s requirements on our website for the vegetative stage.

Step 4: Flowering Stage

For this stage, you can maintain a 12-hour supply of light and darkness. Observe the plants' needs and feed them accordingly; often, they require phosphorus and potassium. Also, watch out for pests and stake the plants to support the heavy buds, particularly if you are growing 10 seeds.

Step 5: Sexing

The male plant has pollen sacs, while the female plant has pistils that resemble tiny hairs. Separate the male plants from the female to prevent pollination.

Step 6: Harvesting

You will know the harvest time is ripe when the trichomes become cloudy and change to amber. To obtain a better view, use a magnifying glass or microscope. Then, cut the plant at its base to harvest it and remove excess leaves.

Step 7: Drying and Curing

To preserve the plants, dry them in a dark and well-ventilated space for 1 to 2 weeks. Ensure the dried buds are placed in an airtight space and exposed to the atmosphere every day for 1-2 weeks to release moisture. The curing process should last for 2- 4 days to increase the flavor and potency.

What Are The Best Regular Seeds?

The best regular seed depends on your specific goals and the kind of environment you want to grow it in. However, here are some of the top strains popular among growers:

White Widow

White Widow has a legendary reputation for being easy to grow. It has a short flowering phase, and it exhibits a strong penetrating flavor. The seed is beginner-friendly and can be cultivated in both outdoor and indoor environments.

White Widow contains a perfect mix of Sativa and Indica and makes you feel very high without turning into a couch potato. It is perfect for enjoying a cool evening with your friends at the beach while watching the sunset.

Ganja, one of our customers who purchased this strain, said, “The White Widow definitely delivers its legendary reputation. It is an excellent strain. I grew ten seeds indoors, removed two males from it, and ended up with eight amazing plants. It was pretty easy to grow this one, and although I like challenges, if it comes to growing, I'd rather be lazy because I can!”

Bubblegum

Bubblegum has a sweet scent and aroma that make it enjoyable to swallow. It has a pain-relieving effect, and its THC content is high enough to give you a euphoric feel. It has a flowering period of 8-9 weeks; after that, it yields a premium weed with sticky buds and a honeyed scent. The plant produces up to 450 - 500g indoors and 600g outside!

Here’s what Peggy said after purchasing some of the seeds from our website: “...The plants were sturdy and pretty easy to manage, even for someone like me who's still learning the ropes. I did notice a few different phenos, but all of them were healthy and produced some beautiful buds. The smell during flowering was incredible... a sweet, bubblegum scent.”

Haze #1

Haze #1 is a Sativa-dominant strain with a powerful high THC level – 23%! This seed is just right for you if you are an experienced grower or like trying your hands on difficult seeds. It requires extra attention to grow because of the excessive nutrient requirement and its huge size. It thrives best in an outdoor environment, where it is visibly exposed to sunlight and a warm climate. This seed yields a generous 450 - 550g indoors and up to 600g outdoors.

Henry got the Haze #1 seed and shared this review on our website: “Awesome strain. I recommend it to everybody with experience in the field of weed cultivation. The giant dark green and lime leaves with white pepper are just amazing. The effect is really intense and lasts for a pretty long time.”

Master Kush Regular

Master Kush is a strong regular cannabis seed and can thrive in any condition – whether soil, coco, hydro, or even aero. When taken, it helps your muscles relax deeply, accompanied by a smooth and relaxing feeling. It is mostly useful for curing depression and muscle pain and can help you sleep soundly.

The Master Kush has a short flowering period of 49-56 days and allows you to sow and harvest up to three times a year. The yield is pretty impressive, too. When grown indoors, you’ll get between 550 - 600g per m2 and 600 - 700g/plant outdoors.

Master Kush is best for advanced growers because it requires demanding cultivation requirements—temperature, humidity, and nutrient control—for maximum yield. Joseph, one of our Kush lovers, attested to this, “A plant with a challenge, but definitely worth it and recommended. Especially if you are a real Kush lover and have some experience with the cultivation of weed.”

FAQs

What are regular cannabis seeds?

Regular cannabis seeds are unaltered, traditional seeds that can produce male and female plants. They allow growers to breed their own strains, produce seeds, and cultivate high-quality cannabis plants.

What is the difference between regular, feminized, and autoflower seeds?

Regular seeds are natural seeds that can grow into female or male plants. Feminized seeds, on the other hand, are specifically bred to produce female plants, which grow buds. Autoflower cannabis seeds automatically transition from the vegetative stage to the flowering without needing any specific light cycles.

Who are regular cannabis seeds best suited for?

Regular cannabis seeds are ideal for:

  • Breeders: Those looking to create new strains or produce their own seeds.
  • Experienced growers: Those who can identify male plants early and separate them to prevent pollination.

Can I grow regular seeds indoors and outdoors?

Yes, regular cannabis seeds are versatile and can be grown both indoors and outdoors. However, they require attention to light cycles and environmental conditions to thrive.

How do I identify male and female plants?

Male plants develop pollen sacs, which appear as small round structures near the nodes. Female plants produce pistils, which look like white, hair-like structures. It’s important to identify and remove male plants early to prevent accidental pollination.

Are regular seeds genetically stable?

Yes, regular seeds often have stable genetics because they are not altered or bred for specific traits. This makes them a great choice for breeders seeking pure strains.

Are regular seeds harder to grow than feminized or autoflower seeds?

Yes, regular seeds are better suited for experienced growers because they require knowledge of plant sexing and careful management to ensure optimal results.
