By crossing the Northern Lights with Big Bud (Critical x Skunk) many advantages have been created. One of them is the shortened flowering period which is as little as 9 weeks. With this shortened flowering time the total cycle from seed to harvest only lasts 11 - 13 weeks. However, the advantages also have a downside. For the Northern Lights x Big Bud, that's the increased mold risk. Of course, the increased risk of fungus applies particularly to tropical areas and the month autumn where it in some regions can get rainy.

The strain is a pretty fast grower and can reach a height of about 130 cm indoors. Outdoors, the plant can reach a maximum height of 170 cm which for an autoflower is quite large. In a SOG setup you can assume 500-600 grams per m2.

    great crossing, a real indoor strain if you ask me. I used LST which did good for the plants, having it flatten to keep this grow as short as possible also. The buds will be ripe within a week I think. Have you got the photo’s Frank? Shipment was great btw. Speak to you soon buds!

    I wouldn’t recommend to grow this strain outdoors due to the low mold resistance (have tried this before) but indoors they strain does a great job.
