Weeks 1 & 2 (Vegetation)

As soon as those seeds hit the custom BioBizz All Mix, Gelato started to grow very quickly. The Mars Hydro SP3000 LED ran at 300W from the start, which was perfect.  Watering stayed careful at 1 liter so that the young roots wouldn't get too much. By the second week, the plants were doing well enough to handle their first round of HST. This was a risky move, but Gelato handled it well. It was a nice 24 °C outside, with about 60% humidity, and the seedlings were growing strong and bright green.

Weeks 3 & 4 (Vegetation)

During these weeks, gelato really hit its stride. Boosted by Ecothrive and Plant Success nutrients, the plants rapidly developed strong stems and healthy foliage. The room was stable, with temperatures staying around 25 °C and humidity around 55%. Careful monitoring and regular watering helped the plants grow quickly and healthily, with no signs of nutrient stress.

The change to flowering went smoothly. The lights from Mars Hydro kept the perfect spectrum at 300W, which helped the buds start to grow.  In week six, the training got more intense. There was both LST and another round of HST to help the canopy grow evenly. Defoliation started to let more air flow, which lowered the risk of mold. Weeks 7 & 8 (Mid Flowering)

The garden smelled sweet and creamy, like Gelato. Continued LST and some careful HST kept the growth in check, and the buds grew evenly under Mars Hydro's LED. Gelato was forgiving and bounced back quickly from training. It also rewarded the grower with resin production that picked up quickly. The flowering environment was just right, with the humidity lowered to 50%.

These weeks really showed Gelato's true colors. The buds looked like they were covered in sugar and sparkled because they were covered in beautiful shades of purple and thick trichomes. Defoliation in weeks 9 and 10 made more bud sites available for light and air to get in. Weeks 11 & 12 (Ripening Stage)

In the last few weeks, the buds got noticeably bigger and sweeter. The strong, sweet smell of gelato filled the room. As the watering was slowly cut back to flush out extra nutrients, the trichomes changed from clear to a perfect mix of cloudy and amber. The plants were clearly at their peak maturity: thick, sticky, and perfectly fragrant.

Week 13 (Harvest)

It was time to harvest Gelato Autoflower from WeedSeedsExpress after a successful 13-week cycle. The buds that came out were very dense, full of resin, and very beautiful to look at. The strong trichomes were kept by carefully trimming the plant, and the drying process was slow and steady to keep the terpene quality.
