Weeks 0–1 - Germination & Early Seedling
MindFlowers68 soaked the seeds overnight in filtered, aerated water, then started them directly in 1-gallon plastic pots.
That was smaller than the usual starting setup, and Bubblegum was slow to really get going until compost tea was introduced.
By week 1, it was 4 cm tall under an 18-hour light schedule and receiving soluble root zone, liquid kelp, and cal-mag while the big outdoor pots were being prepared.
Weeks 2–3 - Early Vegetative Development
By week 2, Bubblegum was at 7 cm and moving steadily in the 3.79 L starter pot with no smell reported. In week 3, MindFlowers68 picked it for the outdoor run because it was one of the taller plants early.
By then it had reached 10 cm and was still being fed kelp and cal-mag in the same small container.
Weeks 4–5 - Establishment & First Training
Week 4 was about stabilizing the young plants. MindFlowers68 noted some yellowing from watering and pH issues, but a strong Boogie Brew compost tea helped most of them bounce back quickly.
By week 5, Bubblegum was stretching for the sun and growing fast. MindFlowers68 also spotted possible pest damage on the leaves and topped the plant after it reached the top of the cage. At that stage, it was 24 cm tall.
Weeks 6–7 - Outdoor Growth Picks Up
Week 6 moved along without much drama, with Bubblegum continuing to build outdoors. By week 7, it had reached 38 cm and was pushing through very hot conditions, showing that it was settling into the outdoor setup properly.
Weeks 8–9 - Strong Growth Before the Setback
By week 8, Bubblegum had jumped to [106.68:cm] in the large outdoor container while still carrying only a normal smell.
Week 9 slowed slightly after rain, but MindFlowers68 still gave compost tea, took clones, and cleaned up the lower growth a little before the run took its biggest hit.
Weeks 10–11 - Major Damage
This was the roughest patch of the run. A large maple limb crashed down onto the plants, and Bubblegum took the hardest hit, losing some top shoots.

Weeks 12–13 - Recovery

By week 13, they said the plant was starting to catch back up after the damage and still looked capable of a decent yield.
Weeks 14–15 - End of Veg and Transition
By week 14, the light cycle had dropped to 14/10 and MindFlowers68 marked this as the end of veg. Bubblegum was around 44 inches tall, showing more preflowers, and had also lost another branch.
During this stage, rainwater, compost tea, and preventative foliar sprays were used as the season started getting more complicated.
Weeks 16–17 - Flowering Build-Up
As flower developed, MindFlowers68 built a canopy to protect the plants from honeydew dropping from spotted lanternflies in the maple tree above. Bubblegum had reached [139.7:cm] by week 16.
By week 17, it was still stretching a little, the flowers were stacking, and MindFlowers68 said it was starting to get stinky.
Weeks 18–19 - PM Pressure Builds
Week 18 brought bigger buds, stronger smell, and some purple colour coming through, but drizzles and cloudy weather triggered powdery mildew.

Weeks 20–21 - Early Harvest
By week 20, powdery mildew was starting to settle across more of the garden and the UVC treatment was only working temporarily.

Bubblegum was cut branch by branch, wet trimmed, and moved straight into the freezer for fresh frozen processing. A week later, another 75 gram wet was taken from missed buds, closing out the run.
