Tangerine Dream Autoflower is the autoflowering variant of the legendary Tangerine Dream, initially crafted by Barney’s Farm in Amsterdam. This iconic strain was created by crossing G13 and Neville's Haze and quickly became a global sensation after winning first place in the 2010 Cannabis Cup. 

Known for its delicious tangerine aroma and powerful, well-rounded high, Tangerine Dream has become an easier-to-grow autoflowering version.

Growing Information

This outstanding autoflowering strain performs well and is a perfect choice if you want to grow a wonderfully dreamy weed. By adding Ruderalis to the original Tangerine, the auto Tangerine Dream is much easier to grow than her photoperiod sister.

Her Indica genetics guarantee a robust and naturally resistant plant. The plant remains relatively small, develops strong side branches, and is easy to manage.

This makes Tangerine Dream autoflowering seeds a good choice for new growers who don't have much experience yet want to grow a Sativa-dominant weed. 

She is also an excellent choice for anyone who wants to grow high-quality buds without too much hassle. Although she does well indoors, the autoflower Tangerine Dream really comes into her own when grown outdoors. Keep two things in mind when doing this.

First, make sure you have the right timing, especially if you live somewhere with short, cool summers. Do not sow until there is really no chance of frost. 
Secondly, and although resistance to fungi is high, you should keep a close eye on your plants around October.

If you do it right, you can expect multiple harvests. If discretion is a priority, a good-quality air filtration system is indispensable. As long as you take good care of your plants, growing Tangerine Dream is relatively trouble-free.

The flowering time of this autoflowering strain is between 49 and 56 days, which translates to 7/8 weeks.

Characteristics

Tangerine Dream Auto does not grow very tall despite her Sativa dominant characteristics. She usually develops quite a few side branches, but stays at a compact height of 70-100 cm when grown indoors. Her compact size makes this lady perfect for growing indoors in limited spaces.

Do you prefer to grow outdoors? Then your plant will reach a height of about 100 - 130 cm. Aiming for a maximum yield and wanting to improve the quality of your weed? Apply SOG or SCROG and grow, preferably with a hydroponic system.

Tangerine Dream Autoflower will reward your efforts with a good yield, yielding up to 300 - 400 g/m² when grown indoors and up to 80 - 100 g/plant when grown outdoors.

The THC concentration is relatively high for an autoflowering strain, reaching up to 20%. You can expect slightly less THC compared to the photoperiod strain, but a higher CBD content offsets this. Therefore, as a user, you will feel a sense of intense and long-lasting relaxation in the brain.
