AK-48 Autoflower is one of the most robust and fastest flowering Indica/Sativa hybrids out there, so if you like both Indica and Sativa, look no further. Created in 1992, this strain is an explosive mix of Colombian Gold, Mexican, Thai, and Afghani genetics.
Over the years, she has formed the basis for other hybrids that are also very popular, making her a standout in the AK family. Her genetics are 55% Indica, 25% Sativa, and 20% Ruderalis, leading to a wonderfully mixed effect.
This plant offers the best of both worlds and provides extensive, dense buds covered in brown pistils. The AK-48 Auto strain seeds produce cannabis plants of medium height, with a sturdy structure, medium node spacing, and pretty broad leaves. The plant grows fast and with a great burst of energy.
During growth, you will observe a beautiful Indica. When flowering starts, she reveals beautiful floral buds with many branches supporting the thick, resinous, compact buds.
Growing AK-48 autoflower offers good results indoors but can also be grown outdoors without any problems, for example, in a temperate Mediterranean climate or greenhouse.
We recommend adding 1/3 coco to your soil mix, watering regularly and in small amounts, and planting outside from June 1. Provide the plant with a moderate diet.
The plant has a pungent odor, so you must use a good activated carbon filter during flowering. The flowering time of AK-48 Auto is only 63 to 70 days. Therefore, you can easily enjoy multiple harvests each year.
Along with the Ruderalis genetics, this strain's Indica dominance is notably visible. The plant is nicely compact and, therefore, ideal for indoor growing, with modest heights of only 50 to 70 cm indoors.
Outdoors, AK-48 auto only grows slightly taller, with approximate heights between 60 and 90 cm. AK-48 Auto offers a modest yield for an autoflower.
However, her high resistance to mould and humidity makes beginner growers more likely to achieve a successful, high-quality harvest. Indoor yields of 550 to 750 grams per m² are obtained effortlessly.
Outdoors, with possibly even less exertion, rejoice in an average yield of about 120 to 200 grams per plant.
The mental intoxication is immediate, the effect lasts very long, and the herb burns well—an unmistakable sign of Sativa's presence. AK-48 autoflowering weed boasts a very high THC content, contributing to her success within the AK family.
She lends herself well to social or creative activities, alerting the user and focusing. At the same time, the relaxing physical effect that Indica lovers value is strongly present. In short, she is an uplifting weed but also very powerful, so be careful not to smoke too much of it!
