Some grows come in loud, others slip quietly into the tent and surprise you with grit.
This White Widow Autoflower did the latter. Asterix1995 ran a straightforward indoor soil setup, mixed a couple of nutrient lines, rotated lights between veg and flower, and gave her a gentle touch of LST right when she needed it.
No frills, no hype; just a clean little run that delivered 20 grams of energetic White Widow buzz.

Grow Diary
Weeks 1 & 2 — Vegetation
She quickly broke ground in the custom soil mix and settled in under a combination of the 150W fluorescent and the Relassy 50W sunlike LED lights. The early growth was compact, healthy, and bright green, which is typical of autoflower vigor.
Asterix1995 kept things simple by giving her light water and watching her build a strong root zone in the 19-liter pot.
The plant didn't show any signs of stress by the end of week two, and it had the usual White Widow leaf structure: broad, confident, and ready to grow faster.

Weeks 3 & 4 — Vegetation + LST
The only training in the diary happened in weeks three and four: gentle LST. The grower spread her branches out to make the canopy bigger, and she didn't mind.
With the same veg lighting setup and a switch to the nutrient routine (Advanced Hydroponics of Holland + Growth Technology), she responded by growing more sideways and adding more budding sites.
The plant stayed strong and even, and it never showed any signs of being overtrained or sensitive to nutrients. At the end of week four, pre-flower traits started to show signs of the change.

Week 5 — Flowering Begins
The Relassy 50W sunlike LED and the 150W Lientec Quantum Gro-Board changed the lighting to flowering gear, which started the flowering process. Pistils quickly grew, making the first white hair tufts at the tips.
Nutrients kept coming in steadily. The previous LST kept her structure tight and well-shaped, and the light spread evenly across the canopy. The smells started to get stronger and more like the warm, earthy-spicy White Widow signature.

Week 6 — Developing Flowers
By the sixth week, she was flowering consistently, stacking calyxes, and getting the first wave of trichomes on top of her. Budlets grew along each trained branch, with tight nodes and a small amount of stretch that is common for autoflowering widows.
The plant didn't get any deficiencies or burns, and the feeding stayed the same. The LED mix made her flowers look brighter, and the energy of the strain was already showing in her posture: upright, eager, and buzzing with resin potential.

Week 10 — Late Flower & Finish
There was an unrecorded break in the diary (weeks 7–9 weren't recorded), and then the grower went straight to week ten, the last push. By then, the buds had filled in, and the flowers were clearly covered in layers of resin.
The Lientec quantum board went deeper and finished the lower buds better than early veg lighting could have. The pistils matured, the trichomes reached their harvest window, and the plant had a light fade that was right for the end of an autoflower run.
She was ready for the chop because the structure was still there and there were no major problems.

Observations & Reflections
This White Widow Auto acted like a steady, low-maintenance plant. The LST window (weeks 3–4) was perfectly timed; it opened the structure without slowing down the autoflower clock.
She didn't seem to mind switching between different types of light, and she took the nutrients in stride. The grow stayed clean and predictable, so it was really an easy run.
Even though the final biomass was only 20 gram, the amount of resin produced was good.
Challenges & Solutions
No pests, no nutrient problems, and no environmental stress—at least none that have been recorded. The only problem that can be seen in the diary is that plants can only grow so big, which is probably due to their early genetics or their diet.
Still, the LST made sure that the growth she did have was used well, and she finished without any problems
Harvest & Post-Harvest Insights
Harvest was easy: 20 gram wet and 20 gram dry, which meant that very little moisture was lost. This is often the case with small, dense buds from autoflowers that don't grow very tall.
The dried flowers had the same effect as the grower said: they made people feel energetic, which is what you would expect from classic White Widow.
The final product had a clean potency and a lively profile, which was good for a plant grown in a custom soil mix with mixed lighting and little training
