Magnum Auto Week by Week Grow Diary

Roberts was aiming high with Magnum Auto from WeedSeedsExpress, a strain known for its high yields and strong effects on the mind. Roberts tried to get the most out of the strain by taking great care and planning. Weeks 1 & 2: Vegetation

Roberts began his Magnum Auto journey by putting strong seedlings into rockwool cubes and clay pebbles. The custom hydroponic system was set up just right, with pH levels kept between 5.8 and 6.2. Seedlings grew very quickly under the strong Mars Hydro FC4800 (480W) LED. Roberts fed Blue Planet Nutrients lightly and at a low strength. He kept the humidity at a steady 60% and the temperature around 25 °C during the day.

Weeks 3 & 4: Vegetation

Vegetation Growth shot up under the strong LED, so Roberts began Low-Stress Training (LST) and planned defoliation to encourage strong lateral branching. Root pruning started carefully in week 4, which helped the plants take in more nutrients and stay healthy. At the vegetative stage, Blue Planet was steadily providing nutrients, and the Mars Hydro FC4800 was still driving impressive vegetative growth.

Weeks 5 & 6: Transition to Flowering

As the plant moved into the early flowering stage, Roberts kept training (LST) and removing leaves to make the most of bud sites. Root pruning continued through week 6 to make sure the roots were as healthy as possible and could take in nutrients. We changed the strength of the nutrients to help with this important stage of growth.  The temperature stayed around 25 °C-26 °C, the humidity dropped a little to around 55%, and the plants started to show healthy pre-flowers, which meant that they were getting ready to bloom.

Weeks 7 & 8: Early Flowering

During these important flowering weeks, the Mars Hydro FC4800 LED stayed at full power (480W), which greatly sped up the flowering process. In week 8, Roberts carefully did more defoliation to make sure the plants got as much light as possible. The buds grew very well, and the smell got stronger, showing off Magnum Auto's rich, fruity terpene profile. The nutrient ratios changed to favor Blue Planet's bloom-supporting formulas.

Weeks 9 & 10: Mid Flowering

Roberts kept up the careful work of defoliation, carefully taking off leaves that blocked important light from getting to lower bud sites. The custom hydro setup was great for plants, which were getting all the nutrients they needed. The smell got stronger as the buds grew, and they were bright and resinous. Temperatures stayed around 25 °C, and humidity dropped to 45%, which was the best level for making resin and keeping mould from growing.

Weeks 11 & 12: Late Flowering

Roberts saw that the buds were getting bigger in response to careful training and good control of the environment. In the twelfth week, he did one last strategic defoliation to make sure that air and light could get through easily. Blue Planet Nutrients' bloom formula made flowers bigger and denser with resin. The bud sites had a lot of resin on them, which meant a strong harvest. Humidity control stayed strict at 45%.

Harvest Window: Around Week 12

Roberts kept a close eye on the development of the trichomes as the harvest date drew near. He stopped feeding the plants nutrients completely and did a clean flush with pure water, which made the final product even cleaner. By the end of week 12, the trichomes were at their ripest, looking cloudy with a hint of amber. The strong smell filled the custom-built indoor room, which meant that the cannabinoids and terpenes were at their highest levels. The buds were very dense and resinous, which meant a good harvest.

Harvest & Post-Harvest Insights

After about 12 weeks, Roberts harvested Magnum Auto. He carefully timed the harvest to get the most potency and terpene quality. The results were much better than expected after drying and curing. Roberts got an amazing dry yield of [175.5:gr] from just one Magnum Auto plant. This shows how productive and high-yielding the strain can be in a short autoflower growth cycle.

Roberts was very impressed with how well Magnum Auto did overall. The strain was easy for beginners to use, but it still gave professional-level results in terms of bud density, resin quality, and smell.
