This diary is based on, and authorized by, our well-beloved grower and friend Mosquito from the Netherlands. We'll gain insights into the growth and development of the Hellfire OG strain, a cross between OG Kush and SFV OG Kush.

Grow Diary Hellfire OG
Germination
Mosuito starting germination using the simple paper towel method (in his case flat cotton balls). The seed sprouted in just 48 hours. As the seedling shows early growth, he was eager to get this Hellfire OG autoflower going.
Weeks 1 and 2
The first two weeks there was steady growth. The plant was in a small 0.2-liter pot under 18-hour light. He kept temperatures at 22°C during the day and 18°C at night with 75% humidity. By week 2, the seedling doubled in height to 4 cm, So he needed to move to a larger 50-liter pot.
Weeks 3 and 4
In the 3rd week the plant steadily continued to grow, reaching heights of 7 cm in week 3 and 9 in week 4. Environmental conditions kept stable, though nighttime temperatures were slightly adjusted. The plant’s health remained sturdy although a minimal decrease of humidity in the grow tent.
Weeks 5 and 6
The plant was getting larger at week 5 and showed signs of vigorous development.Because the day temperature increased during this week the nutrient schema was adjusted.Mosquito started with applying Low-Stress Training (LST) and by week 6, the plant shot up to 40 cm. Such fast growing is a clear sign of the nearing flowering phase.
Weeks 7 and 8
By week 7, the plant height was 55 cm which was great, but it also was showing signs of overfeeding. The feeding was adjusted because of this. Week 8, the plant reached a height 70 cm. The nutrient mix was improved and the plant kept getting bigger, so it was neccasary to cut some leaves and to keep the growtent suitable.
Weeks 9 and 10
The flowering phase kicked in, with the plant reaching 77 cm in week 9. Nutrient levels were increased to get the most out of the floweringphase. Defoliation was applied to manage dense foliage and throughout week 10 the plant was starting to show a beautiful jungle like appearance.
Weeks 11 and 12
As the plant was flowering, the height stayed at 85 cm. Mosquito maintained the same light and temperature conditions as the previous weeks. Nutrient mixes were optimized for better bud growth.
By week 12, Mosquito started with preparing the plant for harvest by minimizing the nutrients.
Harvest Time
It is always a rewarding experience when it is time to harvest and all the effort that is put into a plant has come to a great result. From one plant, a yield of 191.5 grams of dry buds was harvested.
