Future #1 hit the ground with high hopes and lights set to find the right mix between power and efficiency. MalumProhibitum ran the plant for 14 weeks, from seedling to flower, using a completely bespoke soil and nutrient mix. The plant grew robust and compact with a Cree CXB3590 LED setup set to 25W in veg and 50W in blossom. By the time of harvest, the reward was 122 gram of dry bud from a single 10-liter pot. It was dense, resinous, and just as strong as Future #1 is known to be.

Grow Diary
Weeks 1–2 (Seedling/early veg)
The seed broke open swiftly and sank into the mix of soil that was made just for it. The Cree CXB3590 LEDs at 25W gave forth just the proper amount of light to inhibit the seedling from expanding. The temperature maintained about 25 °C, and the humidity stayed around 60%. The plant had a robust spread of genuine leaves and a strong root system that was starting to dig in by the second week.
Weeks 3–4 (Vegetative growth)
The plant reacted aggressively to its first light LST sessions as it grew faster. The bespoke nutrients were given in little amounts, and the plant stayed a rich green colour with no evidence of lack. The lighting stayed at 25W, and the distance between the canopy and the plants was carefully changed to keep the internodes close together. By the end of week four, the plant had a wide, even shape and was ready for the flip.
Weeks 5–6 (Transition and early flower)
The plant started to stretch and throw forth pistils when it got 50W of Cree LED power. LST kept spreading the canopy, and defoliation got rid of fan leaves that were in the way of bud sites. To be ready for dense bloom production, the humidity was slowly lowered to 50% and the feeding was increased. At the end of week six, the plant was around 50 cm tall.
Weeks 7–9 (Flower set and stacking)
The buds started to grow, and several colas started to sprout along the trained branches. The unique nutrient mix helped the swelling stay stable, and the temperature stayed between 24 °C and 26 °C with 45 to 50 percent relative humidity. Trichome production started to show up early, coating the sugar leaves while the sweet, fruity, and fuel-like smell filled the room.
Weeks 10–12 (Bulking phase)
Future #1 showed that it could produce a lot of buds by making them thicker and stacking the calyxes tightly. The major colas turned into firm spears covered with resin. To increase ventilation, the plants were defoliated again and again. They stayed robust and strong, showing no signs of nutrient stress. The smell was now strong and fruity, with a clear gassy base.
Weeks 13–14 (Ripening and harvest)
The last two weeks were focused about getting ripe. The plant was gradually given less nutrients and then washed with plain water to make sure the flavour was clean. At harvest time, the trichomes changed from primarily hazy to displaying amber, which was the perfect blend of strength and flavour. The yield was 122 gram of dry bud after chopping and curing. That's a lot of weight for a 10 L pot with low power.
Final Observations & Reflections
Even in a modest, efficient setup, Future #1 showed that it was a serious resin and yield strain. The bespoke soil and nutrient program kept growth healthy and balanced, and the 25W/50W Cree CXB3590 LEDs showed how far low-watt illumination can go with the right training. LST and defoliation made the canopy work better, which led to flowers that were thick, sticky, and smelled great. Smoke testing showed that the high was intense and euphoric, with layers of fruit, sweetness, and gasoline.
