Argos would have given Moonshine Cookies Auto another week. The heat put paid to that.
It was a frustrating way to finish what the grower otherwise described as an almost trouble-free run. Argos liked the plant, enjoyed the smoke and was already talking about growing her again.
There was plenty to be happy with, even if harvest came sooner than preferred.
The late flowering notes explain why. With 113 °F reported in direct sunlight, followed by leaves drying from heat stress, waiting longer was becoming less appealing.

Grow Diary
Weeks 1-2 - Getting Started
Argos kept the opening updates brief. Moonshine Cookies measured just 1 cm in Week 1, reaching 2 inch by Week 2. The seedling was up and growing, with little else added to the written notes.

Weeks 3-4 - Putting on Height
She picked up pace over the next two weeks, reaching 6 inch in Week 3 and 15 inch in Week 4. Argos was pleased with the growth. These were still short updates, but the measurements showed how much had changed.

Weeks 5-6 - The First Flowers and a Faint Smell
Week 5 was the first entry marked flowering. Moonshine Cookies stood at 24 inch, then added another 4 inch by Week 6.
There was something to smell now, too. Argos noticed a faint aroma, present without being bothersome, along with the first visible trichomes.

Weeks 7-8 - Smelling Better, but Not Finished
The aroma kept improving in Week 7. Argos described roughly half the trichomes as milky.
By Week 8, most were described that way, although the grower still wasn’t getting the hoped-for effect. That detail stops this part of the diary from reading like a simple countdown to harvest.
Argos could see changes in the flowers, but wasn’t yet satisfied with the result.
An additional note mentioned the first amber heads appearing in the macro photographs. Some leaves were yellowing as well. For now, though, Moonshine Cookies remained standing.

Weeks 9-10 - Forty-Five Degrees in the Sun
Week 9 brought a much more pressing concern than how the flowers smelled.
Argos reported 113 °F in direct sunlight. The grower thought the larger pot was handling the heat better than smaller containers, with no obvious signs of the roots overheating.
Harvest was estimated to be another week to ten days away.
The aroma still got a positive mention. It was barely noticeable from farther away, but pleasant up close, without anything Argos found objectionable.
Even in that heat, there were things about the plant the grower was enjoying.
By Week 10, the leaves were starting to dry, and Argos put that down to heat stress.
The flowers appeared close to harvest in the grower’s trichome checks. Unfortunately, the foliage was deteriorating while those final changes were taking place.
There was no report of the heat damage easing off.

Weeks 11-12 - Harvest Comes a Little Early
The final recorded height was 31 inch. Argos noted harvesting at the end of Week 11, with the harvest report filed under Week 12.
The cuts took place on August 20, 21 and 22. Two branches were initially left standing out of curiosity.
Drying took roughly two days in the heat. After removing the larger stems, Argos reported approximately 2.3 oz dry.
One figure needs clearing up: the page displays 6.3 oz wet, but Argos explicitly says the wet harvest wasn’t weighed. That number can’t be treated as a measured yield.

Detailed Observations & Grower’s Reflections
Argos liked the plant’s natural shape and felt little leaf removal had been necessary. The buds were described as plump, although the grower was still curious about how firm they would become.
The changing aroma was one of the more consistent positives through flowering. Even when the heat became the main concern, Argos still found the smell pleasant at close range.
There wasn’t a detailed list of individual scent notes, just a grower who liked what was developing.
Challenges & Solutions
The difficult part was deciding how much longer to leave the plant in the heat.
In Week 9, Argos felt the container was coping. By Week 10, drying leaves had become an explicit concern. Those two observations belong together: the initial impression was encouraging, but it didn’t mean the plant escaped damage.
Argos eventually harvested rather than allowing the extra week originally preferred.
Final Result and Strain Review
The smoke gave Argos considerably less to worry about.
It was described as sweet and pleasant, with long-lasting effects that built gradually and ended in mild couch-lock. Dry mouth was the only negative effect mentioned in the written review.
