This WeedSeedsExpress run had a promising start, a delayed move into flowering and a few problems that stayed around longer than the grower would have liked. Space was tight.

Watering sometimes slipped. Soil pH kept coming back into the conversation.

Yet the harvest comments were positive: large, sticky, aromatic buds and an 8/10 rating. Not a spotless run, but one Tmasm was happy to look back on

Grow Diary

The original diary contains gaps between updates. The sections below retain its published week numbers and cover only the recorded entries.

Weeks 1-3 - A Promising Start

Zoap entered the diary at a recorded height of 2 inch. Tmasm’s opening update was brief, introducing the WeedSeedsExpress run rather than giving a long account of the plant’s development.

By Week 2, the height entry had increased to 4 inch.

Tmasm considered Zoap the happiest plant in the garden and credited improved environmental conditions. There was plenty of enthusiasm at this point, even with the grow still in its early stages.

Week 3 brought another encouraging report about growth, but also the first warning about space. The garden was filling up, and a pot change was on the grower’s mind.

The flowering room was expected to stay occupied for another month and a half.

That left Tmasm looking ahead at a practical problem. The plants were growing, but the room they needed next was not ready for them.

Weeks 5-6 - A Few Complications

By Week 5, Zoap’s recorded height had reached 16 inch. Tmasm still described things as generally going well, although the plant was not at its best.

Soil pH was one concern. The reading was approaching 8.

Feeding was another. Tmasm acknowledged that Zoap had received little food and believed this was contributing to its condition.

Low-stress training also featured in the update. Tmasm planned recovery time after training, then another recovery period after repotting.

Flowering was supposed to follow once the plant was ready and the room became available.

In Week 6, Zoap had recovered from the training, and Tmasm confirmed a transplant.

The next steps were more recovery, a cleanup and the move into flower. But the flowering room was still occupied.

Tmasm felt Zoap should already have been making that transition and was becoming increasingly concerned about the space it would need.

The plan was there. The available room was not.

Weeks 10-11 - The Move Finally Happens

Tmasm returned in Week 10 with an apology for the missing updates. Time had been short, several harvests needed attention, and this diary had fallen behind.

Zoap was still waiting.

The original idea had been to move plants into the flowering room as others were harvested. A pest problem in that room interrupted the plan, leaving Tmasm waiting until the remaining plants finished.

By this update, the room was empty. Cleaning and some improvements were next, and the grower hoped to get back to regular diary entries.

Week 11 finally brought the move.

Tmasm transferred Zoap from a 13 L pot into a 20 L one and confirmed that the plant was now in the flowering room. The light change was planned for the coming days, rather than described as already completed.

Plant size was still a concern. The grower hoped transplant recovery would limit stretching when flowering began.

There was pruning to report too. Tmasm removed shoots from the lower half but kept leaves as insurance against mistakes.

A new pot, a different room and pruning made this a busy update. Tmasm acknowledged that making several changes together was not ideal, but decided to press on.

Week 13 - Room for One More?

The Week 13 update confirmed that flower buds were beginning to appear.

After the earlier delays, Zoap had reached the flowering stage. Space, however, was still causing trouble. The plants had become larger than Tmasm expected, prompting a rearrangement of the grow room.

That rearrangement came with a catch.

Once everything looked more organised, Tmasm added another plant. The grower then admitted that the space problem had become worse rather than better.

Tmasm also reported stressing the plants to restrain their growth, without describing the method.

Flowers were forming, but the crowded room had not suddenly become an easy one to manage.

Week 20 - Work Gets in the Way

Another gap in updates brought another explanation from Tmasm: work was taking up the time that would otherwise have gone into the garden.

The plant had received less attention, and the grower was open about it.

Some waterings had been missed. Soil-pH checks had slipped too. Tmasm described Zoap as a little weak and linked its condition to the limited care it had received.

The flowers were a brighter part of the report.

Tmasm praised their appearance and felt the plant was doing well considering how little time had been available. It was not a claim that everything was perfect.

The grower could see the shortcomings and still liked what was developing on the branches.

Weeks 22-23 - High Soil pH and the First Cuts

The soil issue had not gone away.

The Week 22 reading was 8.7. With harvest close, Tmasm chose not to correct it.

Watering continued, and attention shifted towards the approaching cut. Despite the unresolved problem, the grower remained pleased with the flowers and singled out their smell for praise.

Tmasm considered the plant close enough to harvest that cutting was expected within days.

By Week 23, the scissors were working.

The update was brief but enthusiastic. Tmasm described attractive, sticky flowers with an appealing aroma. The tone had moved from managing the plant to enjoying what was coming off it.

Tmasm planned to return in ten days with an assessment and begin curing. That was a stated plan, not confirmation of a completed drying or curing period.

Week 24 - The Harvest Review

The formal harvest entry followed in Week 24, recording one plant and a final rating of 8/10. Difficulty was marked Normal.

Looking back, Tmasm described the grow positively while acknowledging that Zoap had not had an easy run.

At harvest, the grower estimated feeding the plant only five or six times throughout the run.

Limited feeding, missed watering and high soil pH all appeared in the retrospective. Even so, Tmasm was pleased with the large, sticky, aromatic flowers.

The flowers had not yet been sampled.

A smoke report was promised, but the published diary does not provide a completed one. There is also no measured wet or dry harvest weight.

Detailed Observations & Grower’s Reflections

The most interesting part of this diary is the contrast between Tmasm’s concerns during the run and the satisfaction expressed at harvest.

Early updates were enthusiastic about growth. Later entries became more concerned with available space, delayed plans and the attention the garden was receiving.

By the end, Tmasm was openly acknowledging missed care while still praising the flowers.

The grower’s expectations changed along the way too.

Flowering was initially something to prepare for after training and repotting. As the room remained unavailable and the plant grew larger, getting Zoap across became more pressing.

The eventual move was not the carefully spaced sequence Tmasm had first described.

At harvest, the review stayed focused on what the plant had produced despite those difficulties.

That is the grower’s assessment of this particular run. It does not establish how every Zoap plant would respond to the same conditions, but it does explain why the final verdict remained positive

Challenges & Solutions

Space was the first recurring problem. An occupied flowering room delayed the move, and a pest issue in that room extended the wait. Zoap eventually moved across, although the later update made clear that crowding remained a concern.

The soil problem had a less tidy ending.

High pH appeared earlier in the diary and remained an issue near harvest. There is no documented point where Tmasm declared it successfully corrected.

Limited time affected both the garden and the diary. Updates were missed, watering slipped, and the grower repeatedly acknowledged that the plant had received less attention than intended.

The positive harvest review does not erase those problems. It tells us that Tmasm still liked the result.

Final Result and Strain Review

Zoap finished with an 8/10 rating and a difficulty assessment of Normal.

For Tmasm, the flowers were the highlight. Their size, stickiness and aroma received repeated praise as the grow approached harvest and again in the final review.

There is no completed tasting account to build on. Specific flavours, effects and smoke quality were not reported, and the diary supplies no measured yield.

The verdict therefore stays with what Tmasm actually recorded: a difficult run in several respects, followed by a harvest the grower was pleased with
