Wilstang wanted to grow Sweet Tooth Feminized seeds because they would make resin-rich, sugary buds that would be great for a relaxing, flavorful smoke.  Sweet Tooth had everything it needed to be a great grow: a delicious sweetness and strong effects.  Wilstang dealt with problems, learned how to do things right, and finally harvested 3.8 oz of high-quality bud per plant over the course of 18 carefully planned weeks.  Here's the full grow diary.

Grow Diary

Weeks 1 & 2 – Vegetation

The beginning went well, and the Sweet Tooth Feminized seedlings did well under the CMH HID 315W. The weather stayed the same, with a temperature of 73.4 °F and humidity around 60%. Wilstang made sure that the introduction to the soil was balanced by using Microbe Life Hydro, Mammoth Microbes, and Coast of Maine nutrients.  Young plants quickly got used to their new home, growing thick leaves and strong early growth.

Weeks 3 & 4 – Vegetation

The plants grew much faster once they got used to their new home. Wilstang carefully kept an eye on the temperature (about 75.2 °F) and kept the humidity at 55%. Nutrients kept helping the roots and leaves grow strong, and Coast of Maine amendments made the soil as a whole healthier. Even at this early stage, Sweet Tooth had a strong structure and was very tough.

Weeks 5 & 6 – Vegetation

Sweet Tooth Feminized plants started to grow beautifully, getting ready for their first topping.  Wilstang topped the plants at week 6, which encouraged side branching and possible bud sites.  Regular use of Microbe Life Hydro and Mammoth Microbes helped the plants take in nutrients at their best.  The weather stayed the same, which helped the plants grow strong.

Weeks 7 & 8 – Transition to Flowering

The change to flowering began when the lights were changed to CMH HID 630W, which got the buds growing. Wilstang topped again in week 8, which helped shape the plants even more for the best light exposure. The nutrients were changed a little bit to focus on the blooming stages, with more help from microbes. The temperature stayed around 73.4 °F and the humidity stayed around 50%, which were perfect conditions for bud formation.

Weeks 9 & 10 – Flowering

Flowers came up quickly, and the trichomes were easy to see in the bright light. Wilstang kept a close eye on the temperature, making sure it never went above 77 °F. Bud sites grew a lot more, and they responded well to topping and bright lights. Mammoth Microbes made buds much denser and increased resin production.

Weeks 11 & 12 – Mid-Flowering

The topping schedule went on for weeks 10–12, which helped with canopy management. Sweet Tooth Feminized responded by making buds that were thicker and more resinous. Wilstang carefully kept the nutrients in balance to help the plants through their demanding bloom phase. The humidity dropped a little to about 48%, which is perfect for stopping mold and boosting resin production.

Weeks 13 & 14 – Flowering & Defoliation

In week 13, strategic defoliation made a big difference in how well air and light could get through. Sweet Tooth did very well despite the heavy pruning. The resin coverage got very thick, and the trichome growth was impressive. Daily conditions stayed stable at about 71.6 °F and 45% humidity, which was great for flowering.

Weeks 15 & 16 – Late Flowering

Sweet Tooth Feminized started to show signs of maturity during these important weeks. The buds became very dense and sticky, and the sweet smell became very strong. Wilstang kept a close eye on things, keeping the temperature and humidity levels stable.  We cut back on the nutrients a little bit to get ready for a clean flush.

Weeks 17 & 18 – Final Flush & Harvest

The last flush began, making sure that Sweet Tooth Feminized was ready for harvest. Trichomes changed to a cloudy amber, which is the best color for potency and flavor. Wilstang carefully harvested, trimming the thick, fragrant buds with care.

Detailed Observations & Grower's Reflections

Wilstang was impressed with how well Sweet Tooth Feminized stood up to aggressive topping and defoliation. This strain stayed healthy throughout the grow and did well with high-intensity CMH lighting. The smell and production of trichomes were better than expected, which made this grow especially rewarding.

Challenges & Solutions

The grow went well overall, but keeping the right balance of nutrients was sometimes hard. Wilstang's early focus on microbial health with Mammoth Microbes and Microbe Life Hydro made nutrient problems much less likely. At week 13, it was important to manage defoliation carefully, which greatly improved the structure of the buds.

Harvest & Post-Harvest Insights

Sweet Tooth Feminized gave a satisfying 3.8 oz per plant after drying, which is great for a carefully planned indoor setup.  The smoke profile was amazing. It had a sweet, fruity smell and effects that were both relaxing and uplifting, making it perfect for social gatherings and stress relief.  Wilstang said that the strain's quality and ease of growth made it a great choice for home growers who want to get consistent, tasty harvests.
