Green Crack doesn’t waste time, and neither did this run. Stone2345 set out to tame this legendary daytime strain indoors, pushing her through a full 16-week cycle with soil, LEDs, and a ScrOG net to keep things tidy.

What followed was a textbook case of vigor, stretch, and sticky citrus payoff—classic Green Crack from start to finish.

Grow Diary

Weeks 3 & 4 — Vegetation

The diary starts here, so germination rolls into early veg. Two seeds cracked—one fast, the other took ten days—but by Week 3 both were thriving. Plants stood at 10 inch-18 inch, stems sturdy, fans wide under 18/6 light.

Temps hit 78.8 °F-82.4 °F with RH around 65%, tapering toward 60%. Both plants were topped, setting up multiple mains. The squat pheno showed off broad, even leaves, while the taller one stretched with sativa swagger.

Feed was light—Calci-M and Grow360 at seedling strength—and leaves shone a healthy green.

Weeks 5 & 6 — Vegetation

Roots packed out their starter pots, so Week 5 brought the move into 26 L fabric pots. Growth exploded with the extra soil volume. A light defoliation cleared the inner fans, keeping airflow clean.

Temps sat at 77 °F-78.8 °F, RH at 55%. Watering volumes climbed to about a liter, pH ~6.5. By Week 6, the ScrOG net went up. Tops were tucked and tied, setting the canopy flat.

The smell was still subtle, just a sweet-green whisper when you brushed the stems.

Weeks 7 & 8 — Vegetation

The ScrOG grid filled like a chessboard, each square now home to a future cola. More tucking and training spread growth evenly, while another selective defol kept airflow on point.

RH dropped to 50%. The squat pheno naturally stayed even, while the lanky sister needed more weaving to stay in line. Both phenos, though, looked dialed for the flip—vibrant, upright, and hungry for bloom.

Weeks 9 & 10 — Flower (Flip + Stretch)

The flip to 12/12 at Week 9 lit the pistil fireworks. White hairs burst from every node, staking out future buds. Bloom360 joined the feed alongside Calci-M, Grow360 dialed back. RH dropped to 45%.

By Week 10 the stretch was on, tops threaded through the net with a steady hand. Aroma leaned citrus-green, like mango rind and zest. The canopy stayed even, perfectly staged for flower.

Weeks 11 & 12 — Flower (Early Build)

Stretch slowed and budlets swelled into little buttons. Sugar leaves dusted up with the first frost. The squat pheno stacked chunky tops, while the tall pheno stretched long spears. Temps ran 75.2 °F-77 °F, RH at 45%.

PK Blossom joined the lineup in Week 12, and buds fattened quickly. Resin glistened, RH dropped to 40% for safety. Both plants drained pots fast—no burn, no fade, just forward drive.

Weeks 13 & 14 — Flower (Mid Bloom)

The canopy stopped stretching and poured energy into bud swell. Aromas sweetened, tropical-citrus meeting earthy skunk. Resin thickened, pistils shifting from cream to strawberry blond.

PK Blossom kept feeding the swell. Fans were trimmed back just enough to let light hit the inner shoulders, but never overdone. Trichomes looked mostly cloudy, still building their peak.

Weeks 15 & 16 — Flower (Ripening)

Week 15 brought a final, heavy defol—opening the canopy so every bud shoulder got its share of light and air. RH stayed tight at 40%, temps 75.2 °F. The smell now hit like citrus zest rubbed over pinewood, sharp and resin-heavy.

By Week 16, uptake slowed and fade came in clean. Fans yellowed gracefully while buds stayed dense and sticky. Trichomes showed mostly cloudy with amber scattered in—classic Green Crack ripeness.

Observations & Reflections

Green Crack showed exactly why growers keep coming back: fast growth, forgiving nature, and a terpene punch that’s citrus-bright and skunky underneath.

The two phenos played different roles—one compact, one lanky—but both thrived under topping, ScrOG, and timed defoliation. Stepping down humidity through each stage proved crucial, as did keeping feeds balanced.

The result wasn’t the heaviest harvest on paper, but the quality more than delivered—true to Green Crack’s reputation as a grower’s friend and a consumer’s spark.
