Critical Purple Auto was grown by Hologram outdoors with one very clear goal: purple flowers, fast.
This was a medicinal grow first. Hologram wanted a purple-leaning autoflower to help with MS attacks, chronic pain, insomnia, and stress, and Critical Purple Auto was chosen because purple strains had worked well for her before.
The seed came from WeedSeedsExpress, germinated quickly, and moved into a Dutch outdoor climate that gave it a proper test. Rain, cold nights, aphids, spiders, a brutal heat spike, and limited daylight all showed up across the run.
The grow was kept simple, using the KISS method for most of the diary. There was some defoliation, light LST, and one bold late topping in flower, but this was not a heavy training run.
Just a grower working with the plant, the weather, and the short autoflower clock.

Grow Diary
Weeks 0-2 - Germination, Seedling Stage & Transplant
Hologram started the seed in a glass of water with a few drops of Seedbooster Plus, then moved it into a wet coffee filter inside a ziplock bag and kept it dark. After 48 hours total, the seed had germinated cleanly.
No dragging. No weak start. Just a fast auto doing what a fast auto should.
By week 1, Critical Purple Auto was [2.5:cm] tall and spending sunny days outside while being protected from rougher conditions.
The plant was under a 15-hour light schedule, with daytime temperatures around 71.6 °F and night temperatures dropping to 50 °F.
In week 2, Hologram moved the plant into its final 11 L pot and started root and veg support with CANNA Rhizotonic, Bio Vega, and Sugar Royal.
The plan was simple: feed every other day or every couple of days, keep stress low, and let the autoflower use its short life cycle properly.
By this point, she had reached 6 cm and was already being treated like the medicine cabinet mattered.

Weeks 3-4 - Early Vegetative Growth and First Signs of Flower
Week 3 was wet and cold. There was a lot of rain, temperatures moved between 57.2 °F and 68 °F, and the plant spent time indoors on the windowsill to stay warm.
Even with that stop-start weather, she reached 6 inch and looked healthy enough to keep pushing. Not explosive yet, but steady.
Week 4 brought the first signs of flower. The pistils were tiny, almost hard to spot, but they were there.
Hologram added flower nutrients, sprayed a neem oil mix because parasites were active in the garden, and removed lower leaves and branches that were not doing anything useful.
The plant was 9 inch tall at this stage, and the real grow was starting to take shape.

Weeks 5-6 - Stretch, Pest Pressure, and Late Topping
Week 5 was when she really started to move. Critical Purple Auto jumped to 18 inch, but the week was not clean.
Cold weather and wet soil left the leaves hanging a little, and aphids showed up after the rain. Hologram dealt with them by removing pests and putting ladybugs on the plant whenever possible.
Proper outdoor growing, then. No sterile lab, just a plant, weather, insects, and a grower staying on it.
By week 6, the plant had reached 20 inch and was clearly flowering. Hologram made the boldest move of the run here, topping the plant on June 13.
That is not the usual play with an autoflower already in flower, and Hologram knew it, but the plant had huge indica-style leaves and looked strong enough to handle it.
Some very light LST followed so the flowers could catch more light. Risky? Yep. Did it ruin the grow? Not even close.

Weeks 7-9 - Flower Development and Bud Weight
There was no separate week 7 update in the source diary, but by week 8 Critical Purple Auto had reached 24 inch.
Rain and dark weather kept her in the safehouse for a couple of days, but once the sun came back, she was out again soaking it up.
The aphids were less of a problem once the weather improved, and ladybugs were still around doing their bit.
By week 9, the plant hit 26 inch and stopped doing much vertical growth. From here, it was all about bud weight. Hologram noted that she was just getting fatter.
A brutal hot spell hit Amsterdam, with temperatures reportedly above 104 °F, but the plant handled it well and stayed protected during rainy spells.

Weeks 10-12 - Final Flower, Aroma, and Harvest
By week 10, Critical Purple Auto was still sitting at 26 inch and building what Hologram described as a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Nutrients were simplified at this point, with Sugar Royal and Green Sensation logged.
Week 11 gave the best aroma note of the diary. Hologram described a light purple haze around the plant, but not much deep purple colour yet. The smell was the winner: gassy citrus, lemon, and diesel.
That is exactly the kind of stink you want at this point. Loud enough to get exciting, but still clean and sharp.
Rain was on the way again, and Hologram needed space for the next generation, so harvest was planned. Sensible call.
Outdoor autos are not trophies to leave standing until the weather ruins them. When the window is there, take it.
Critical Purple Auto was harvested after 72 days total, from germination on May 3 to harvest on July 21. The dry took around 10 days on a drying net before the buds went into jars.
Hologram noted that there was not much full purple colour, only purple streaks, purple leaf tips, and a haze around the plant.
But the plant grew strong, made big buds, and handled spiders, bad weather, Dutch outdoor conditions, and limited daylight without falling apart.

Detailed Observations & Grower’s Reflections
Critical Purple Auto was not the full purple monster Hologram may have been hoping for, but it still did the real work. The plant stayed healthy, pushed through bad weather, handled pests, and finished fast outdoors.
The grower’s KISS approach suited it well. There was enough input to keep the plant supported, but not so much interference that the autoflower got bullied out of rhythm.
Even the late topping did not seem to derail the run, which says plenty about the plant’s strength.
The final vape report was heavy and medicinal. Hologram described a cover of relaxation moving through the body, heavy limbs, heavy eyelids, hunger, and a blanker head than expected.
This was clearly an evening strain, not one to hit before errands, emails, or pretending to be useful.
Challenges & Solutions
The first major challenge was the weather. Cold nights, rain, dark spells, wet soil, and later a serious heat spike all hit during the grow.
Hologram handled this by moving the plant between the garden table, greenhouse, windowsill, and safehouse depending on the conditions.
Aphids were the next issue. Rain brought pest pressure, and Hologram responded with neem spray earlier in flower, manual removal, and ladybugs. No overreaction, no plant abuse, just practical outdoor pest control.
The other challenge was expectation. The strain was grown for fast purple flowers, but the final colour stayed fairly subtle. There were purple streaks and purple haze, but not a deep purple finish.
Hologram took it the right way: colour is nice, but taste and medicinal effect count more.
Final Result and Strain Review
Based on this diary, Critical Purple Auto showed itself as an easy, fast-finishing outdoor autoflower with strong medicinal value. It did not need perfect conditions, and it did not collapse when the weather turned ugly.
The flavour came through as woody, herby, diesel, and citrus, with the official taste tags listed as diesel, flowery, and citrus. The smell was a little nasty in the best way, while the taste was nicer than the aroma suggested.
Effects were hungry, relaxed, and sleepy, with dry eyes listed as the only negative. For Hologram, the real value was medical.
The strain helped with pain, insomnia, and depression, and the grower described it as throwing a warm blanket over MS attacks and chronic pain.
Final numbers were solid for one outdoor auto in imperfect conditions, and Hologram rated the run 10/10.

| Dry Yield | 1.7 oz dry bud weight per plant |
