Alpine Star CBD is the kind of strain that doesn’t shout to get attention, but once you’ve tried it, it’s hard to forget. This one’s all about balance. You get smooth, mellow effects, a clean earthy-citrus flavour, and barely a hint of THC in sight. It’s not here to get you sky high. It’s here to help you feel like yourself again. Great for daytime use or winding down without the fog, Alpine Star CBD is a favorite among growers looking for something therapeutic, dependable, and genuinely enjoyable to grow.
Alpine Star CBD was born from the legendary Alpine Star strain, known for its heavy indica lineage, earthy taste, and soothing effects. This CBD version keeps the calming vibe but dials way down on the THC. By crossing Alpine Star with a high-CBD parent (most likely a Cannatonic or similar medical variety), breeders created a near perfect 1:20 THC to CBD ratio. It’s a functional flower that stays true to its genetic roots: chill, grounded, and reliable.
The high? There isn’t one. Or not in the traditional sense. Alpine Star CBD doesn’t blast you into orbit. Instead, it washes over you like a warm breeze. Most people report deep physical relaxation, mental clarity, and a subtle sense of calm. Great for easing stress, tension, and inflammation without the head-spin. The flavour profile leans into earthy pine, fresh herbs, and citrus peel, with a slightly peppery aftertaste that lingers nicely on the exhale.
Expect very low THC levels, usually under 1%. CBD, on the other hand, tends to hover around 15 to 20%, making this a true wellness strain. Perfect for medical users or anyone wanting the benefits of cannabis without the psychoactive side effects.
This one is likely loaded with myrcene, pinene, and a touch of caryophyllene. That mix is what gives Alpine Star CBD its fresh, forest-like aroma, along with its calming and anti-inflammatory effects. Great terps for pain, stress, and winding down after a long day.
Alpine Star CBD is a no-fuss plant. It’s not a diva and doesn’t need constant babysitting. The genetics are stable, the structure’s bushy and manageable, and the plant’s naturally resistant to mould and pests. Beginners will appreciate how forgiving it is. Experienced growers can get creative with training and boosts.
Indoors, you’ll get dense, medium-sized plants that stay around 60 cm to 80 cm. They do well in soil or hydro and respond nicely to low-stress training. Outdoors, expect slightly bigger bushes that can handle cooler temps better than most. As long as they get enough sun and aren’t drowning in rain, they’ll thrive in most moderate climates.
Alpine Star CBD finishes flowering in about 8 to 9 weeks indoors. Outdoors, expect to harvest around mid October. Yields are generous without being ridiculous. Indoors, expect between 275 gram and 350 gram, while outdoor growers can bring in around 400 gram per plant with the right care.

Brillant genetic idea producing the highest CBD and lowest THC possible, a giant leap forward for medical cannabis. Nearly all seedlings I’ve grown for this strain develop a long slender stalk that need initial physical support and some chiropractic technique to thicken and thus strengthen the stalk. Alpine strain is best handled by experienced growers but well worth the extra effort for a high quality medical product ! A must buy !!
1 found this usefulJust thought I would mention my issue to maybe save someone else the same problem. My local gopher really loves these plants, had to put up chicken wire to save them from the pesty little fellow. Have grown other plants in same location, and there is a purple kush growing beside them that he didn\'t seem to touch, but he loved the alpine star. They are recuperating nicely at this point though, three up to around 4 feet tall, and the other two were stripped bare to the stalk, one has enough leafs it should start to take off again, and the other one should be there in about a week. Seeds germinated in 24 to 36 hours. and were doing wonderful pre gopher. Covid 19 really mess up delivery, order was placed Mar 26, notified weedseeds I had still not received order May 6th, they didn\'t hesitate to send replacements, the original order arrived May 12th, and the replacements arrived around June 22nd, the long shipping time is due to Covid 19 thought, not the fault of weedseeds, all shipping is slow in Canada right now, and weedseeds didn\'t hesitate to resend as soon as they heard I had not received my order. Looking forward to the rest of the growing season.
1 found this usefulIt took precisely 48 hours to get down under from time of payment. Insane. It took 6 hours from time of plane landing to clear customs. Fantastic packaging. thankyou FEDEX. It took a further 6 DAYS to be couriered 65 Km. to me. Go figure. Covid. Make my own oil. It will be interesting to see how this strain compares. Grown outside.
such a lovely high off this plant. nice and mild sensory buzz, perfect for cruising around the garden. so nice to find a weed that doesn't whack you out. totally cool to function and go about your day. thanks so much
All seeds germinated and had a bit of variation between the phenotypes.one was obviously suitable for outdoors as it grew to about 1.2m in 40 days, one which is a small plant around 45cm(which I'm cloning) and another with deeply serrated leaves that felt paperywhich grew to50cm.the rest look like normal plants around 60cm.cant wait to see what further breeding brings for alpine star.aĺl shade leaves were quite large in comparison to my tutankhamon.waiting for flowers
