Zingy citrus, old-school pedigree, and a buzz that kicks your day into gear. Acapulco Gold Auto is a fast-finishing sativa with flavor, power, and effortless grow appeal baked in.
Acapulco Gold Auto isn’t just some half-baked nod to a legendary landrace. It’s a lightning-fast, terp-loaded tribute with all the sunny energy of the original and none of the photoperiod fuss. If you’re chasing tropical flavors, uplifting daytime effects, and a grow that practically takes care of itself, this auto checks every box. It’s easy, it's productive, and most of all, it’s fun as hell to grow.
You’re looking at dense, resin-laced nugs that shimmer like they’ve been dipped in sugar and sunshine. And the high? Expect good vibes only. Sociable, energetic, and just a bit giggly. Ideal for creative missions or simply making mundane things weirdly delightful. This one’s a no-brainer for anyone who wants top-shelf sativa buzz without the grower’s degree.
Acapulco Gold’s roots stretch back to the west coast of Mexico, and this autoflowering version keeps that golden legacy alive with a smart Ruderalis cross that triggers flowering on its own schedule. The original was a 70s icon, smuggled, praised, and passed around like a legend. This auto keeps the soul of the sativa intact while trimming the time, the size, and the effort needed to grow it. You still get those mango-citrus notes and that sparkling golden glow, now packed into a modern format built for quick grows and stealthy spots.
The effects are pure daytime bliss: creative, talkative, and bright. You’ll feel it rise behind the eyes, spread into a steady uplift, and settle somewhere between mellow clarity and happy head-buzz. Not the kind of strain that leaves you zoning out mid-thought. This one fuels conversations, brainstorming, and full-on outdoor adventures.
Flavor-wise, Acapulco Gold Auto is a tropical cocktail with a pine-kissed twist. It starts earthy and lemony on the inhale, then rolls into a bright burst of citrus, sweet fruit, and just a little sour tang to keep things interesting. It’s like sunshine in vapor form.
Packing up to 24% THC, this strain is no slouch in the potency department. The low 0.5% CBD means it leans fully into its psychoactive side, making it perfect for seasoned smokers or adventurous beginners who know when to take it slow.
The terpene trio here does a lot of the heavy lifting. Alpha Pinene brings that sharp pine freshness and mental alertness. Linalool softens the buzz with floral calm and a bit of body ease. Humulene rounds it out with a touch of earth and a no-nonsense, grounded edge. Together, they create a well-balanced profile that lifts the mood without tipping into spacey territory.
Beginner-friendly and forgiving, Acapulco Gold Auto grows like a champ with minimal fuss. If you’ve got basic gear and a bit of patience, you’ll be just fine. She's robust, resilient, and handles training well, especially if you give her a little encouragement with LST or some light defoliation.
Indoors, she stays nicely compact at around 39 inch to 59 inch, which is tall enough to impress without overwhelming your tent. Outdoors, expect a little extra stretch, reaching up to 67 inch from a base of 43 inch, especially if she’s soaking up some strong sun. She also performs great in greenhouses and comes with solid resistance to pests and mold. This one was clearly bred for versatility. Whether you're on a city balcony, a remote plot, or in a full grow room, she’ll handle it.
This lady gets to work fast. Flowering wraps up in just 56 to 70 days, and when it’s time to harvest, she absolutely delivers. Indoors, expect between 1.6–2 oz per square feet. Outdoors, she can push out 15.9–19.4 oz per plant. All of this happens without needing to adjust your light cycles or stretch your veg phase.
When a legendary sativa meets a smart autoflowering upgrade, you get something special. Acapulco Gold Auto is fast, fruity, and an absolute joy to grow. It delivers iconic flavor, a bright daytime high, and chunky yields without any of the stress. Whether you’re new to growing or just over fiddly photoperiods, this is one of those strains you’ll want to grow again and again.

I'm using seeds from last year. I kept them in the refrigerator. Planted 4 seeds and germinated all 4 in 6 days in Miracle Grow on a heat mat. Just transplanted a 10" beauty I gave to a friend outside. Very good buzz just eating fresh buds last year.
Everything arrived safe and sound, very discreet too!
4 found this usefulQuite a joy to cultivate, with the plants exhibiting an almost tropical glow and offering up buds that were gold dusted and smoky pine in flavor!
2 found this usefulThe generous yield and tantalizing aroma is a testament to the quality of these seeds, making them a valuable addition to my grow operation.
2 found this usefulLike I said before they popped or sprouted with a tail about an inch. After planting they never grew at all. The outside of the seed never fell off. This is the second batch I have purchased and unlike other varieties these have let me down. That’s a lot of money to throw away. I’ve told your company about this and they never replace the seeds. I told them that I used the paper towel method and they never sprouted after a week and I was told by your company to soak them in warm water. Did that and then went back to paper towel method and two sprouted but never dropped the shells and died. Very very disappointing
