I had bad batches of seeds however Weedseed was very good at sending me out more seeds as advertised. I originally did the soak seeds and paper towel in a ziplock to germinate. all but 2 seeds grew and the rest never come out of the soil. ( I had new Merical Grow soil from Walmart.) The next go-around attempt when the replacement seeds showed up I simply put seeds into new soil in the red cups under a 4-foot 5000 Luminance light (16 on and 9 off ) bought at Walmart for $20.00 Dollars and also bought my distilled water at Walmart and Boom 100% Germination. Hardened the plants off and now 6/21/23 I have all 12 plants currently averaging 44.5 inches. ( yes I just went to measure them ;) ) I still have 3 more months of growth time.
