MalumProhibitum didn’t start this CBD Express run expecting it to steal the show. This was a curiosity grow. A “let’s see what CBD genetics really do” run, not a THC flex or a yield chase.
From the start, this plant felt different — slower, a little awkward, not trying to impress. That ended up being the point. This plant asked for patience, not correction, and the payoff came in ways that don’t show up in trichome shots.

Grow Diary
Weeks 0–2 – Germination & Early Veg
MalumProhibitum started CBD Express directly in the soil, and she came up… not wrong, but not great either. First true leaves looked a bit shriveled, second set thinner than expected.
Same soil, same feed as the other seedlings, yet she stayed about ten percent behind them. Instead of chasing fixes, MalumProhibitum left her alone.
The tap water was corrected for calcium and magnesium, the feed kept mild, and the stem propped so she’d stand straight. By the end of week two, she wasn’t a stunner, but she was clearly settling in.

Weeks 3–4 – Veg, Transplant & Root Drama
She kept moving, but never looked fully comfortable. To rule out overfeeding, MalumProhibitum backed off to plain tap water and made the call to transplant into a 10-liter pot.
That went about as badly as a transplant can — roughly eighty percent of the roots were lost in the process.
Citrus seedlings sharing the pot were removed, and then it was hands off. What stood out was how fast she bounced back.
Knowing how unforgiving flowering can be, MalumProhibitum gave her extra veg time under the kitchen LED. By the end of this stretch, she was praying again and looked ready to move on without carrying baggage.

Weeks 5–6 – Early Flower, No Fuss
The flip to 12/12 didn’t shake her at all. Stretch was minimal, structure stayed compact, smell barely there. MalumProhibitum didn’t prune, train, or defoliate — this wasn’t the plant for that kind of handling.
Bud sites showed up evenly across the plant. She was clearly smaller than the others, but the architecture was there.

Weeks 7–8 – Mid Flower & First Reality Check
By now, her size had plateaued at around 24 inch, and the smell finally showed up. Clean, sweet, no herbal funk at all. The recycled soil was doing its job — airy, alive, forgiving.
Curiosity won, and MalumProhibitum clipped a low branch to test her early. First vape pulls were sweet citrus, then cucumber and pine, followed by something unexpected: a creeping, physical, very real effect.
Not foggy. Not heavy. Just present. That’s when it became clear this wasn’t a throwaway CBD plant.

Weeks 9–10 – Slow, Steady, Still Not Done
She kept stacking, slowly. Daytime temperatures hovered around 26 °C, humidity stayed near 60 percent, and feed strength sat where MalumProhibitum wanted it.
The aroma turned into a sour-sweet candy profile — pineapple, strawberry, lemon — hard to pin down but unmistakable. Buds still weren’t big, but the decision not to rush her was already made.

Weeks 11–12 – Final Stretch
By this point, she was a bushy mess tangled into neighboring plants. MalumProhibitum cleaned up the lowers, took cuttings, and cut nitrogen completely. Feed strength dropped and she just cruised.
Other plants were lining up for the chop, but CBD Express earned her extra days. This wasn’t about speed anymore.

Week 13 – Harvest
CBD Express came down on day 79. As she was chopped, the room filled instantly with a sweet lemon-candy smell. Final dry weight landed at 1.9 oz. No surprises there.
The real surprise came later. Even fresh, she made it clear she wasn’t meant for casual smoking. This was edible material, sleep material, body-reset material.

Observations & Grower Reflections
This plant reshaped how MalumProhibitum looks at CBD genetics. Smoked or vaped, the effects were subtle but unmistakable. In edibles, she really showed her strength.
High-dose coconut oil made from this harvest worked better for sleep than Promethazine, without nightmares or next-day fog. That alone justified the entire run.
Challenges & Solutions
Early seedling weirdness and a brutal transplant were the main challenges. Both were solved the same way — by not panicking. No aggressive feeding, no training, no forcing pace. Extra veg time and simpler inputs did the work.
CBD Express: Final Result and Strain Review
After a quick dry, the entire harvest went straight into coconut oil. It was cooked until CO₂ bubbles stopped, frozen, and dosed by the teaspoon. Results were immediate, reliable, and repeatable.
This plant earned a second run without hesitation.
