Every now and then, a strain shows up that doesn't care about chasing THC records or making you question gravity. CBG Citrus Nectar is one of those strains. It’s here for the real magic: the smiles, the calm, and that easy kind of happiness you can actually live with. No racing heart, no forgetting why you walked into the kitchen. Just smooth, mellow vibes wrapped up in a sweet, citrusy hug.
If you’re looking for something that makes the world seem just a little bit softer without flipping it upside down, you’re looking at it.
CBG Citrus Nectar isn’t some throw-together hybrid. She’s got pedigree. On one side, pure CBG genetics bringing all that clarity and lightness. On the other, Juanita la Lagrimosa, a bit of a legend herself if you like your strains with a reputation for sweet flavours and feel-good energy. Together, they made something fresh. Something better. A real sweetheart of a plant for anyone who thinks there’s more to life than just getting baked.
This one hits like a sunny Sunday. Take a pull and you’ll catch lemon up front, like someone just squeezed a fresh one right over your tongue. Then come the softer fruits, kind of tropical, kind of mellow, like a fruit salad that someone accidentally made perfect.
As for the effects, think calming, happy, lazy, relaxed, and even a little sleepy if you settle in for the ride. CBG Citrus Nectar is all about those easy vibes without any sharp edges.
Not every grow needs to be a 30% THC face-melter. CBG Citrus Nectar steps off that crazy train. With just 0.20% THC and a touch of 0.18% CBD, this one’s here for those moments when you want to feel good without feeling fried. Perfect if you love the ritual of rolling, the smell, the taste, the inhale, but not the chaotic brain scramble that comes after.
Geraniol takes the lead in the terpene department. If you’ve never met Geraniol before, you’re in for a treat. It’s got this soft floral thing going on, layered over citrus notes, like walking through an orchard just after it rains. It smells fantastic, tastes even better, and brings in that extra layer of chill that makes this strain such an easy favorite.
If you’re new to growing and you’re worried about nuking your first crop, don’t be. CBG Citrus Nectar grows like a seasoned old pro. She's forgiving, adaptable, and doesn’t throw fits if you miss a watering or if the temps swing a little more than you planned. Honestly, she’s one of those strains that feels like she wants you to win.
Indoors, you’re looking at plants hitting around 110 cm to 150 cm. Not massive, not tiny, just a good, manageable size that’s easy to work with even if your space is tight. Outdoors, they’ll stretch a bit more, usually somewhere between 150 cm and 210 cm, especially if they get a taste for the sunshine.
She’s not picky about climates either. Mediterranean, temperate, arid, or even up in the hills, she’ll thrive as long as you give her a half-decent environment and a little bit of care.
You won’t be waiting long to get your hands on those juicy buds. CBG Citrus Nectar is ready to go after just 49 to 56 days of flowering. Fast enough that you can still squeeze in another grow before the season shifts if you’re playing your cards right.
Indoor yields are strong too, typically landing somewhere around 450 to 600 gram per m2. Outdoors, let her stretch her legs a little and you can expect around 550 to 750 gram per plant if you treat her right.
If you’re tired of every new strain being about “more THC, bigger highs, better bong hits,” maybe it’s time for a little reset. CBG Citrus Nectar isn’t trying to blow your head off. She’s here to make you smile, take a deep breath, and actually enjoy the simple things again. Fast flowering, great yields, killer flavour, and an easy, forgiving grow? Yeah. That’s a win.

Grows extremely resilient and fast! Flowers faster compared to a pure indica strain. It is very resistant to disease. As my indica strain got light or nutrient burn in the same conditions and had leaves turned brown. Citrus Nectar CBD kept growing and the buds got ripe enough at 7th week of flowering. I am harvesting early for prevention of THC. I used biobizz soil + coco and biobizz organic fertilizers and stimulators and a 20L pot. 360W of LED lamps. Sadly there were a lot of small flies in the end. When I took the plant out for flushing I saw at least 10 flies minimum. Seed germination not the best - 2 seeds did not germinate. Aroma was like strawberry at first but in the end turned into citrusy and the word "nectar" really got its meaning. The buds smell extremely strong at close. Looking forward to trying them out and I will probably let it be lab tested.
2 found this usefulThe plant grows really well and is pleasant to smoke as well. Very fresh and clear feeling. No high when smoked reasonably. I grew in a 21L pot with biobizz prodcts and a full spectrum LED lamp. A few seeds did not germinate. Plant is growing extremely well. Stronger than an indica plant. I yielded around 35g of trimmed flower per plant. Because I want to use CBG for medicinal purpose I sent the flower for testing. 2 found this usefulLOVE these plants. They all sprouted quickly and grew into strong, healthy plants. The citrus aroma is delightful, and the yield was impressively at about 500g a plant.!
Out of 10 seeds, 8 sprouted, and all that sprouted grew without issues and stayed nice and compact, so I can't really complain about that. The aroma during flowering was a fresh, citrusy scent with a hint of sweetness, which made the whole room smell amazing. The buds turned out dense and frosty, and the high is very mellow and relaxing, perfect for unwinding after a long day.
