God’s Gift feminised seeds were grown indoors by Theia in an 11L airpot using a 50/50 mix of peat-free BioBizz Light Mix and perlite.

This was a BioTabs run built around simplicity. No constant feed mixing. No endless bottle juggling. Just a living soil-style setup, plain tap water most of the way, and occasional amendments when the schedule called for them.

The main story of this diary is control. Theia topped, bent, snapped, tied, netted, cleaned, and adjusted this plant while working around travel and limited time at home.

What stands out most in the source diary is how strongly God’s Gift responded during veg.

She took heavy training well, stayed healthy through most of the early run, and showed the kind of structure that rewards growers willing to shape the plant properly.

Grow Diary

Weeks 0-1 - Germination & Early Seedling

Theia started this second God’s Gift attempt directly in a 200ml starter pot after the first run failed while he was away for work. This seed moved quickly, throwing a shoot within 3 days.

The seedling looked unhappy early on, and the reason was simple. She was only getting 8 DLI across a 24-hour period. Temps sat at 25 °C with 71% RH, so the environment was not the villain. The light level was.

Theia pushed the light to around 14 DLI, then transplanted her into the final 11L airpot. The medium was mixed with 50 gram Startrex, Mycotrex went into the planting hole, and 2 BioTabs were placed 5cm down on either side of the plant.

There was a small early mistake. Orgatrex and Bactrex were added after transplant when plain water would have been enough. The plant showed a little burn on the first leaf set, but nothing dramatic.

A rough start, sure, but not a write-off.

Weeks 2-3 - Recovery and Easy Veg

By week 2, God’s Gift had recovered from the transplant stress and reached 15 cm. Theia was already impressed with the BioTabs setup. She was getting straight tap water, and that was it.

Week 3 kept the same rhythm. The plant reached 20 cm, the light schedule stayed at 18 hours, pH was logged at 6.5, humidity sat around 61%, and watering remained simple at roughly 1L when needed.

Theia was away for work during this stretch, so the plant was left under a very simple routine. His wife kept her watered, and the BioTabs system carried the rest. No buffering, no mixing, no drama. Lovely stuff.

Weeks 4-5 - Topping, Bending, and Building the Frame

By week 4, God’s Gift had reached 27 cm and looked like she wanted to grow tall. Theia topped her, then went straight into heavy structure work.

The side branches were snapped, tied down, and spread outward to build a flatter canopy. Theia described her as strong and vigorous, which matches the way she handled the rough treatment.

Week 5 was all about tightening the ties and expanding the footprint. The plant dropped slightly to 24 cm because of the training, but the canopy work was doing exactly what it needed to do.

After the heaviest HST session, Theia used BoomBoom Spray as a recovery foliar. Lights were at 60%, the environment was sitting nicely, and the plant was still being fed plain untreated tap water.

This was the best-looking part of the run. Strong plant, easy feeding, and proper response to training.

Weeks 6-7 - Defoliation and ScrOG Support

Week 6 brought defoliation and the ScrOG net. Theia had created some serious bends in the branches, so the net was added for support before the flip.

She was still mostly on plain water, although Bactrex was added in 1L of water to refresh the substrate biology. Height was logged at 27 cm, humidity sat around 53%, and watering increased to 1.5L.

Week 7 was the final veg week. God’s Gift had spread out and stabilised in the shape Theia wanted. Lights were pushed to 65%, VPD was around 1.05, and the plant looked settled enough to move into flower.

This was a long, controlled veg. Not lazy growing. Not plant-and-forget. Theia was shaping this one hard.

Weeks 8-9 - Flip to Flower and Light Bleaching

Week 8 marked the flip to 12/12. Humidity was dropped to 50%, temps were around 24 °C, and the plant started stretching into flower.

At first, Theia thought she looked hungry. Bactrex was added according to the BioTabs schedule, but the issue turned out to be something else entirely.

By week 9, pre-flower had begun and Theia realised the pale look was not a nutrition problem. It was light bleaching. Too much light, too early.

That was a good catch. A lot of growers would have thrown more feed at the problem and made things worse. Theia reduced the light levels instead, and the bleaching settled.

Weeks 10-11 - Flower Sites and Cleanup

By week 10, flower sites were forming nicely. God’s Gift was a little slower than the Runtz plant growing alongside her, but Theia was in no hurry.

Humidity was running around 55% because the light cycle had been moved to night to help with heat. Lights-on temps were closer to 22 °C, which was not perfect, but easier and cheaper to manage than forcing the room warmer.

Week 11 made one issue obvious. Because the plant had been tucked toward the back, Theia had missed how much lower and mid-level leaf was sitting on her.

There were also small flower sites that would usually have been removed earlier.

He cleaned up the lowers, added Bio PK 5-8, and kept the plant moving. Not perfect timing, but the right move.

Weeks 12-13 - Net Removed and Bulk Begins

By week 12, the ScrOG net had become too restrictive, so Theia cut it away. Simple decision. When the net stops helping, it goes.

God’s Gift had started to bulk, but she clearly needed more time. Theia had been away again, and watering may have been a little inconsistent. Even so, the grow stayed mostly water-only, which kept the workload low.

Week 13 was one of the more honest updates in the diary. Too much leaf. Too much light early on. A few mistakes from being away too often. Theia called it straight.

Still, he had strong praise for the BioTabs range. Just water with the occasional amendment had made the run much easier than a standard mixed-feed grow.

Weeks 14-15 - Late Flower Management

By week 14, God’s Gift looked like she needed at least another 3 weeks. She was at 46 cm, sitting under 12/12, and still running at 55% humidity.

Theia opened her up with ties to get more light onto the smaller leaves and bud sites. He also gave another Bio PK feed, which buffered to pH 6.4 with an EC of 1.8.

Week 15 was calmer. The plant reached 50 cm, watering increased to 2L, and VPD was sitting around 1.4. Buds were fattening slowly, but the run was clearly not as smooth as Theia wanted.

The notes here are very real-grower. Not every run is a showroom run. Sometimes you just keep the plant steady, keep the environment in range, and let the buds do what they can.

God's Gift Week 14God's Gift Week 15

Weeks 16-17 - Stress Shows and Harvest

Week 16 showed the cost of the earlier stress. Theia suspected irregular watering while he was away had pushed the plant too hard, and some of the lowers had hermied.

A bit of seed was expected, so the plan changed. Rather than pretending this was a flawless flower run, Theia decided to chop her when the Runtz came down and use the material for hash.

At harvest, God’s Gift had spent 114 days from germination to chop. The final logged wet weight was 260 gram from 1 plant, with a 9/10 rating and a normal difficulty score.

Theia noted that the buds seemed a little fluffy and that immature seeds had formed on some of the lowers. He also said she could have been great with the right care, which is probably the cleanest summary of the whole run.

Detailed Observations & Grower’s Reflections

The clearest takeaway from this diary is that God’s Gift handled training well. Topping, HST, ties, defoliation, and ScrOG work were all used, and the plant stayed strong through the main veg period.

The BioTabs system also stood out. Theia repeatedly praised how easy the run was when the plant could mostly be watered straight from the tap.

The weaker side of the diary came down to consistency. Long veg, travel, irregular watering, too much light early in flower, and late cleanup all stacked up.

None of these problems killed the grow, but together they kept God’s Gift from showing her cleanest version.

Challenges & Solutions

The first challenge was low light at seedling stage. God’s Gift looked sad until Theia realised she was only getting 8 DLI, then increased the light level.

The second challenge was early transplant stress. Orgatrex was added too soon, causing a little burn on the first leaf set. Theia corrected course and returned to the intended just-add-water BioTabs method.

The third challenge was light bleaching after the flip. The plant first looked hungry, but closer observation showed the tops were being pushed too hard by the lights.

Theia lowered intensity and the issue settled.

The fourth challenge was time. Being away for work meant watering and cleanup were not always as tight as they should have been. Later in flower, that stress showed through some lower hermie development and immature seed formation.

Final Result and Strain Review

Based strictly on the source diary, God’s Gift finished as a strong but stress-affected indoor plant.

She had the structure, health, and training response to become something special, but the run never had the consistency needed to bring her all the way home cleanly.

She still produced 260g wet from 1 plant and earned a 9/10 rating from Theia. That says plenty. Even with mistakes, travel disruption, light stress, and watering inconsistency, she still made it to harvest.
