Crwfz1 grew Amnesia Haze x Blueberry Auto indoors for his first run with WeedSeedsExpress genetics.

The setup wasn't overly complicated. A 600W HPS handled the lighting, the plant stayed under an 18-hour schedule, and most of the hands-on work went into training.

LST started early. HST followed soon after, with defoliation added once the plant started filling out.

And filling out was very much the theme here.

By week 3, Crwfz1 was already having to adjust the training almost daily as the branches pushed back against the restraints. From that point on, keeping the plant spread out and under control became the main job.

Weeks 1-2 - A Small Start and Early Training

Amnesia Haze x Blueberry Auto was just [5.08:cm] tall in week 1.

Crwfz1 didn't waste much time before starting LST. Rather than letting the main stem head straight for the light, the idea was to start opening the plant up while it was still young and easy to work with.

Conditions stayed fairly steady at 18 °C during the day, 13 °C at night, and 64% humidity. Watering was still light at 0.38 L.

There wasn't much vertical movement in week 2, at least according to the recorded height, which remained at [5.08:cm]. The plant itself was clearly becoming more active though, and HST was added to the training.

Nothing unusual showed up at this stage. Most of the attention was going into shape rather than height.

Weeks 3-4 - Growth Starts Fighting Back

Week 3 is where the pace changed.

The plant reached [10.16:cm], but the more interesting detail came from the training. Crwfz1 was having to go back in every day because the branches were pulling the training rods straight out of the medium.

That's a pretty good sign that the plant had found its stride.

By week 4, height was up again to [15.24:cm]. Defoliation was added to the LST and HST routine, helping open up what was becoming a noticeably broader plant.

This was also the first week where any aroma was recorded, although it was still weak.

The plant was beginning to move ahead of the others sharing the grow space, and the amount of training needed was increasing with it.

Weeks 5-6 - The Canopy Opens Up

By week 5, the plant stood at [22.86:cm].

More importantly, Crwfz1 measured the spread at around 20 inches wide.

That tells you much more about the shape of this grow than the height alone. A lot of the early growth had been pushed sideways, turning what could have been a narrow central plant into a much wider canopy.

Week 6 brought the first real vertical surge.

Height jumped to [38.1:cm] and the first signs of preflower started appearing.

Crwfz1 was already impressed by the size of the canopy for an autoflower, but kept the same approach going. LST, HST, and defoliation all continued while the plant moved towards flower.

Weeks 7-8 - Stretching Into Flower

Flowering properly kicked in during week 7, along with a substantial stretch.

The plant moved from [38.1:cm] to [58.42:cm] in a week.

Bud sites were now developing across the canopy, and all that earlier branch work was starting to show its value. Instead of one dominant central section, there was a broad spread of flowering growth.

Height stayed at [58.42:cm] in week 8, but the canopy had expanded to roughly 32 inches across.

There was another interesting detail here.

Crwfz1 still hadn't added any extra nutrients.

For a plant that had already filled that much space, that is a remarkably simple feeding run. Watering had increased to 0.95 L, but additional feed wasn't introduced until later.

Weeks 9-10 - Final Push and Harvest

There was one more strong burst of vertical growth in week 9, taking the plant to [81.28:cm].

The smell had become noticeably stronger by this point, and trichome production was also picking up.

This was when Fox Farm Tiger Bloom finally appeared in the diary, logged at 1.3 ml/L.

Crwfz1 also pointed out that the plant had never been topped.

That's worth noting considering the final shape. The wide canopy came from working the existing branches with LST and HST, then keeping excess growth under control with defoliation.

The plant was chopped at the end of the week and hung to dry.

Total grow time came to 64 days.

After a month of curing, Crwfz1 described the flowers as dense and sticky, with a mix of fruity and gassy aromas.

Detailed Observations & Grower’s Reflections

The most interesting part of this run was probably the plant's response to training.

Crwfz1 started working it almost immediately, then kept at it throughout most of the grow. There was LST from week 1, HST from week 2, and defoliation from week 4.

The plant didn't appear to lose much momentum because of it.

If anything, the challenge was the opposite. Growth became strong enough that the training needed regular adjustment just to keep everything where it was supposed to be.

Feeding was also unusually light.

No extra nutrients were reported through the first eight weeks, yet the plant continued stretching and filling the available canopy. Tiger Bloom only came into play right near the end.

For Crwfz1, it ended up being a fairly uncomplicated first experience with WeedSeedsExpress genetics. There was plenty of hands-on canopy work, but very little in the way of troubleshooting.

Challenges & Solutions

There wasn't a major problem to rescue this grow from.

No pest outbreak was reported. There were no documented disease problems, and there was no nutrient issue that required a sudden change of course.

Most of the work came down to managing growth.

The branches were already fighting against their restraints by week 3, and the flowering stretch added another layer to that. Between weeks 6 and 7 alone, the plant gained more than 20 cm.

Crwfz1 stayed with the same basic approach rather than changing tactics halfway through.

Regular LST kept the canopy spread. HST helped control stronger branches, and defoliation opened up crowded areas as the plant filled out.

It was more maintenance than problem-solving, which is usually a pretty good position to be in.

Final Result and Strain Review

Amnesia Haze x Blueberry Auto reached harvest after 64 days.

Final recorded height was [81.28:cm], with the canopy reaching roughly 32 inches across at its widest point.

The harvest entry lists [56.7:gr] of wet bud weight from the single plant. Crwfz1 didn't provide a final dry weight, so that's where the yield numbers stop.

After a month of curing, the flowers were described as dense and sticky. Aroma leaned fruity and gassy, while the grower also rated the strain highly for its smell, trichome production, and resistance during the run.

There isn't a proper smoke report in the original diary, so we can't say much about the final effects or flavour beyond what Crwfz1 actually recorded.

What we can say is that the plant took repeated training without becoming troublesome, grew into a seriously wide canopy without being topped, and did all of that with very little supplemental feeding.
